Colorado Ski Conditions for Jan 14th 2012. Copper Mountain opened the Alpine lift with Far East, Too Much, Triple Treat, and Formidable opened today. Other terrain opening of note: Keystone is about up to 50% with NorthPeak having trails open, Breckenridge is at 53% with mainly the double black diamond trails closed due to lack of snow, Vail has a majority of trails open, however not a majority of terrain 1603 of 5289 acres open which is more than Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin does appear to have more acreage open, but I’m not sure what trails opened there, Loveland looks to be in the same fix as Arapahoe Basin, but with a little more terrain, Aspen … I kinda hate their website you can’t find anything detailing what’s open, with all that land I’m sure there’s plenty, Beaver Creek is 78% open and has a better mix of various trails open most if not all greens and blues appear to be open and many black and double blacks as well, Wolf Creek yeah they’re 100% on their 1600 acres and if you’re in for a long weekend and want to avoid the I70 crowds SW Colorado might be a good bet.
